By downloading or using Random Picker · Baro (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the app store from which you obtained it (e.g. the Apple App Store or Google Play).
Pricing, taxes, and refunds follow the policies of the store where you obtained the App. The developer does not operate separate billing or subscription systems inside the App.
You agree not to misuse the App: for example, no reverse engineering to extract non-public APIs, no use that violates law or others’ rights, and no attempt to interfere with the App’s normal operation.
The App is a social utility for deciding who goes first, who is on which team, and who does the chore. It handles no money, awards no prizes, and takes no wagers. Do not use it to run a lottery, a raffle with stakes, or any draw where money, property, or another thing of value changes hands, and do not use it where a jurisdiction requires a licensed or certified draw. It is not a certified random number generator and carries no such accreditation.
The App is designed to work without sending any data to the developer’s servers. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Your list of names and your recent draws live only in the App’s private storage on your device. Deleting the App, resetting the device, or restoring from a backup that predates a draw will remove those records permanently — the developer holds no copy and cannot recover them for you. If a result matters to you, write it down yourself.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. The App deliberately does not compensate for streaks: it never avoids the previous winner and never weights an entry, so repeated results are an expected property of a fair draw and not a defect. Do not rely on the App where an error could cause injury, damage, or loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, or for any loss of data or profits, except where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when they do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised terms.
