Random Picker · Baro is a 100% on-device app. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information on our servers. There is no backend. There are no analytics, no ads, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

| No system permissions at all | The app never asks for contacts, the microphone, camera, location, photos, notifications, or health data. Drawing a name needs none of them, so none are requested. In particular there is no Contacts import: names are typed in, or left blank and drawn as numbers. |
| Local storage (your list) | The names you type, how many of them there are, the mode you last used, and how many winners or teams you last asked for are written to the app’s private storage on this device. You can rename or delete any entry, or reset the whole list, from the list sheet inside the app. |
| Local storage (your draws) | The last 50 draws are kept so the app can show you the result again when you reopen it, and so the fairness panel can count the last twenty. Each record holds the time, the draw number, the 16-character seed, the names as they read at that moment, and the outcome. Nothing else. You can clear the history in the app. |
| Haptics (vibration) | Used only to give a physical click when you draw. It reads nothing. |
Nothing from the app itself. Random Picker · Baro makes no network requests — not for drawing, not for storage, not for analytics, not for updates. Your names never sync anywhere and there is no account to create. You can verify this in airplane mode: every feature, including the draw, the history and the fairness panel, continues to work.
Opening a link to another Baro app in the App Store (cross-promo footer), or tapping “send an idea” to open your own email app, hands off to that app externally — those are the only optional, user-initiated external actions, and they happen only when you tap them.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here and the “Last updated” date above will change.
