By downloading or using OmitQR (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the app store from which you obtained it (e.g. the Apple App Store or Google Play).
The App is offered as a one-time purchase where applicable. Pricing, taxes, and refunds follow the policies of the store where you bought the App. The developer does not operate separate billing or subscription systems inside the App.
You agree not to misuse the App: for example, no reverse engineering to extract non-public APIs, no use that violates law or others’ rights, and no attempt to interfere with the App’s normal operation.
The App is designed to work without sending camera frames, scanned links, or scan history to the developer’s servers. Details are in the Privacy Policy. The camera is used only to scan codes on-device, and scanning is performed by an on-device decoder; its behavior may be subject to Apple’s or Google’s policies outside the developer’s control.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. The on-device safety check is a best-effort aid and may not detect every malicious, phishing, or unsafe link; you remain responsible for deciding whether to open a scanned destination. Scan accuracy depends on your device, camera, lighting, and the condition of the code; results may vary.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, or for any loss of data or profits, except where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when they do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised terms.
