OmitQR is a 100% on-device app. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information on our servers. There is no backend. There are no analytics, no ads, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

Nothing from the app itself. OmitQR does not make network requests for scanning, the link safety check, history, analytics, or updates. You can verify this in airplane mode — scanning, the safety check, the QR maker, and saved history continue to work.
If you choose to open a scanned link, your browser loads that destination — that hand-off is under your control and requires your explicit tap (a dangerous link needs a second confirmation). If you tap Share, the system share sheet sends text only to the app you choose (Messages, Mail, etc.).
Opening a link to another OmitKit app in the App Store (cross-promo footer) opens the store externally — that is another optional, user-initiated external action.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
