Common questions
- Why does it need the camera? The magnified image is the
camera preview. Frames are displayed and discarded — nothing is recorded or sent.
- The screen is black. Check that camera access is allowed in
Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera, and that no other app is using the
camera.
- Can I keep an image? Freeze holds the current frame on screen so
you can read it steadily. It is held in memory for the moment you are looking at it.
- Does the light drain the battery? The torch is the same LED the
system camera uses; leaving it on for long stretches will warm the phone and use
power, as it would in any app.
