Unit Converter · Baro is a 100% on-device app. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information on our servers. There is no backend. There are no analytics, no ads, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

| No system permissions at all | The app never asks for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, notifications, or health data. Converting a number needs none of them, so none are requested. You will not see a permission prompt at any point. |
| Local storage (your last screen) | Two small JSON records are written to the app’s private storage on this device: the five unit pairs on your chip rail, and the state of the screen you left — which pair, which side the caret was on, the digits you typed, and your 근 / shoe / 전용-공급 choices. That is the whole of it. Deleting the app removes both. |
| Clipboard (write only) | The Copy key writes the converted number to your clipboard. The app never reads the clipboard — there is no paste feature — so iOS will not show you a “pasted from” prompt. |
Nothing from the app itself. Unit Converter · Baro makes no network requests — not for conversion factors, not for storage, not for analytics, not for updates. Every factor is compiled into the app and printed inside it so you can check it yourself. There is no account to create. You can verify all of this in airplane mode: every feature, including the full unit catalogue, continues to work.
Opening a link to another Baro app in the App Store (cross-promo footer), or tapping “send an idea” to open your own email app, hands off to that app externally — those are the only optional, user-initiated external actions, and they happen only when you tap them.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
