LED Banner · Baro is a 100% on-device app. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information on our servers. There is no backend. There are no analytics, no ads, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

| No system permissions at all | The app never asks for the microphone, camera, location, contacts, photos, notifications, or health data. Scrolling text across your own screen needs none of them, so none are requested. There is no permission prompt anywhere in the app. |
| Local storage (your messages) | The message currently on the sign, your saved messages, the scroll speed and the sign colour are written to the app’s private storage on this device. You can delete any saved message, or clear all of them, from the app. |
| Keeping the screen awake | While the sign is on screen the app asks iOS to keep the display from dimming, because a sign that goes dark after thirty seconds is not a sign. This reads nothing about you and stops the moment you leave the app. |
Nothing from the app itself. LED Banner · Baro makes no network requests — not for your messages, not for storage, not for analytics, not for updates. Your messages never sync anywhere and there is no account to create. You can verify this in airplane mode: every feature, including saved messages, speed and colour, continues to work.
Opening a link to another Baro app in the App Store (cross-promo footer), or tapping “send an idea” to open your own email app, hands off to that app externally — those are the only optional, user-initiated external actions, and they happen only when you tap them.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
