Shift Calendar · Baro is a 100% on-device app. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information on our servers. There is no backend. There are no analytics, no ads, and no third-party trackers of any kind. Your work schedule is one of the most revealing things about you — where you are, and when you are not home — and this app is built so that nobody, including us, can ever see it.

| No system permissions at all | The app never asks for notifications, the calendar, reminders, contacts, the microphone, camera, photos, location, or health data. Working out which day of a repeating cycle a date falls on needs none of them, so none are requested. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt either, because there is nothing to track. |
| Local storage (your rotation) | Your shift pattern, the date you said it started, and any single-day corrections you make are written to the app’s private storage on this device. You can change or replace them at any time from the pattern screen, and deleting the app removes them. |
| App Group storage (the widget) | The same pattern and corrections are copied into a private storage area shared between the app and its own Home Screen / Lock Screen widget on this device, so the widget can work out today’s shift by itself. This area is readable only by this app and its widget, and it never leaves the device. |
| Clipboard (only when you ask) | The share code is copied to, or read from, the system clipboard only when you tap “copy code” or “paste code”. The app does not read the clipboard at any other time. The code contains your shift pattern and its start date and nothing else — no name, no employer, no device id. |
Nothing from the app itself. Shift Calendar · Baro makes no network requests — not for your schedule, not for storage, not for analytics, not for updates. Your rotation never syncs anywhere and there is no account to create. You can verify this in airplane mode: every feature, including the month view for any year and the widget, continues to work.
If you send your share code to a coworker, you send it, in whatever messaging app you chose; it does not pass through us. Opening a link to another Baro app in the App Store (cross-promo footer), or tapping “send an idea” to open your own email app, hands off to that app externally — those are the only optional, user-initiated external actions, and they happen only when you tap them.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
