By downloading or using Sticky Notes · Baro (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the app store from which you obtained it (e.g. the Apple App Store or Google Play).
Pricing, taxes, and refunds follow the policies of the store where you obtained the App. The developer does not operate separate billing or subscription systems inside the App.
You agree not to misuse the App: for example, no reverse engineering to extract non-public APIs, no use that violates law or others’ rights, and no attempt to interfere with the App’s normal operation.
The App is designed to work without sending any data to the developer’s servers. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Your notes live only in the App’s private storage on your device and in the private App Group container its own widgets read from. Deleting the App, resetting the device, or restoring from a backup that predates a change will remove that text permanently — the developer holds no copy and cannot recover it for you. The App has a share action for exactly this reason: if a note matters to you, send yourself a copy.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets are refreshed by the operating system, which decides when a refresh actually runs — low power mode, system load, and OS policy can all delay one. The App asks for a refresh the moment you finish editing, but it cannot guarantee the timing of what the system does next. The widgets require iOS 16 or later; the App itself runs on iOS 13 and later.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. It is a simple note pad with five fixed slots and is not a backup service, a reminder service, or a system of record — do not rely on it as the only copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, or for any loss of data or profits, except where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when they do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised terms.
